Adding 2nd IAT sensor for meth tuning and displaying value on Aeroforce gauge?

I don't see the point of an IAT gauge. What am I going to do if I see high IAT's while driving? I sure as hell won't be looking at it while ripping gears with 800rwhp.
I just log the IAT's while tuning. I tell it to pull timing if they get higher than I saw while tuning. I adjust it a second time when the season changes here. I don't worry about IAT's again.

Maybe my setup is different then most, but I don't believe I have 3-4 inches after the meth nozzles. I placed the meth nozzles in the charge pipe approx 2 inches after the MAF, which is about as close to the MAF as I felt safe going. After the meth nozzles there is a short amount of silicone piping before the throttle body, maybe 2 inches max? Anybody else have this issue?

Depends on the kit. On the A&A kit I had to have a custom upper pipe made to fit it all and it still wasn't ideal. ECS kit shipped me a pipe all setup and ready to rock. Just had to ask them to setup to pipe for meth.

Thanks, I have an A&A kit and am finding there isnt really any room. I may grind down the throttle body and mount it in there like somebody mentioned. Any advice on the specifics of doing this?

Did anybody else have a hard time finding a nut that is 9/16 16, no matter what hardware store I go to they don't seem to have it. Also can't find a tap and die that is this size either. Also, if anybody has a completed pic of the iat relocation and doesn't mind posting, I would really appreciate it! The picture previously posted isn't showing up for me!

So with my ecs kit there really is not enough room between the maf and the tb to mount an iat and the nozzles. So i will be mounting it in the intake, what is better on the side or on top? Can someone describe the process to tap the intake, do i need to remove it from the car and what tools do I need? I don't want to mess this up it is a ported one from BER. I know the cts-v sensor is a M14X1.5, but i cannot find that tap size anywhere local. However i did find a Irwin 3/8-16 tap with drill bit. Could i use this? I need to do this ASAP!

Im not sure you could screw it into the top, I think it would be too high and hit the hood most likely? Another option is to have a custom charge pipe made with proper spacing for the setup. That is the route I went as I was scared to drill into the intake, as well as couldn't find solid enough information as to exactly how to do it. Good luck, let us know what you do and how it goes!

Some good info in here, just got the pn of 12614717 from Josh@A&A.
Don't have the IAT in my hand right now, but was told it's a 3/8 -18NPT tap that is needed going into the intake?
This is the same IAT used in the ZR1 and CTS.V 2nd gen it seems? (haven't ran the pn through GM yet)
I was emailing both Josh/A&A, Julio/Alky and talked to Don Kinder today, all great people for knowledge based on experience.
