Yah, just having two tunes but really one tune should be fine for high and low elevation. Just tune for the higher boost and when it goes down you should still be tuned.

If it is at max boost at high elevation will it not be overboosted at low elevation. I think that is the whole problem. I am maxed out at low elevation. so when I go home to my high elevation I am losing power.

That is where the suggestions came up for the waste gate and restrictor plate.

You have it correct. No matter what your losing power with elevation. Even with a wastegate or whatever. There is just less air up here.

Well - on a C6Z anyway let's say 15 minutes or less each time since it's only a portion of the liner and if you're proficient, but I totally agree with you and would spend more for a used HPtuner too no matter what year I owned. Note: I'm at 3000 ft and have just accepted the fact that Ill need to be careful when visiting the coast.
