Default Differences Between Edelbrock’s Kits?

I'm thinking about getting an E-Force system for my 2006 Z06, and I see that Edelbrock has 3 different kits for the Z06...

1572 - 657 HP Complete Supercharger System for 2006-12 Later Z06 Corvette (LS7)

15720 - 657 HP Complete Supercharger System for 2006-12 Later Z06 Corvette (LS7) (Hand-Held Tuner NOT Included)

1573 - E-Force Competition Supercharger System for 2006 & Later Corvette Z06 Applications (LS7)

The first two are described as street legal, while the third is noted as a competition kit and does not include programmer, injectors or pulley. Since I would want to have a dyno tune and maybe a smaller pulley (since I already have headers and full exhaust), I certainly like the idea of configuring the kit how I would want and I am curious if the "Tuner" Competition kit would be my best choice.

Does anyone have any information on what it would specifically mean in regards to street use if I went with the Tuner kit instead of one of the first two kits? And how do the other systems like the A&A and ECS relate on this topic?

Thanks

If you are going to be changing Injectors and doing a custom tune you can purchase the competition kit but you would need to purchase both injectors as well as a pulley. Really depends how much power you are looking for. Any questions feel free to let me know..

I wonder if the 15720 is identical to the 1572 except for the SCT tuner.

It could be a good kit for those of us that already have an SCT tuner.

The 15720 is exactly the same as the 1572, minus the SCT tuner. The 1573 also removes injectors, pulley, belt, & side covers, as these are items that are often customized for specific off-road applications. As far as your existing SCT tuner working, we do post all of our files online, however you will need to call the SCT techline to find out if the programmer part number you have will be compatible with our firmware. Additionally, if compatible, you will have to update the firmware from SCT's website, prior to downloading the Edelbrock .lfu file.
