Bill,

Thats the early design A/C line and will need to be swapped to the 06-current Line.

Phil
PS I pull them like that all the time, much easier in the long run.

Thanks Phil. I saw the two different lines mentioned in the instructions but hadn't compared mine to the picture yet. Lucky me.

I have a BRAND NEW set of A/C lines, billet compressor block, and billet evap block from a C5, if it turns out that your 05 has the earlier setup. TTi rapes you on the price if you have to buy this stuff. They charged me 350.00 just for the compressor fitting alone.

If you end up needing it, ill sell it to you cheap..

Also I had been running some envirosafe stuff and wanted to go back to R-134. Lastly it seemed easier to just yank it all. I think it worked out best.

Plus I have the gauges and vacuum pump to recharge it myself when I'm done.

Bill should just post a 799hp dyno and stay in the C-team. That's what I would do if I could adjust it with turbos. Easy pickings then.

C5 stuff does not work on the C6's and completely different. We Use an OEM A/C line of the second design.

Not for TTi, from GM if you have the early design. I have now seen them aftermarket even cheaper from places like Rock Auto

The part is an even bill on gmparthouse. I'll use my interwebz sleuthing skills to see if I can find it cheaper.

Looking good. I'm always impressed by the number of builds coming out of Houston. Maybe one of these days I'll actually meet all of you.

Wow! We go from what I considered a mild chat as if you were pondering the idea of yanking it the other day to this.

Should be lots of fun.
I'm excited for you!
