Default Does crank bolt require high temp Loctite?

I'm midway through my A&A kit installation and ready to install the crank bolt. I went to Autozone and they have the red Loctite Threadlocker but it does not say 272 or high temp. I got some that is high strength rated up to 3/4" fastener and 300 degrees. Will this work or do I need to get the high temp stuff? If it is required, where can I find it?

No need. Using a new stock bolt? Id recommend arp balancer bolt. Readily available from most vendors here. Just a couple of bucks so best off going that route.

I think the crank pinning kit would be more important than the loctite!

On the serious side, it's not needed but to each his own.

I use red loctite just for piece of mind. However......it usually requires a heat-gun to loosen up the bond when/if you go to remove the bolt.
