I am looking to install either an A&A or ECS SC system later this year. Before I go off an spend money only to get a minimal gain in the end, woould like to get some input please.
I am looking to upgrade to either TF 220s or AI in the next week. Is this not worth the $$ since I will be adding the SC? Also, I am planning on buying a ported intake and ported TB. Again, is this a good move? I believe it is because of the AF increase; not a ton but better. If the things I am looking at will bring minimal gain, I can hold off. Can calculate the $$ I would've spent on them and maybe; just smooze the wife into letting get the SC kit.
My GTO appears on page 84 of the April 2012 addition of GM High Tech Performance and it was powered by a stroked LS2. Two (2) weeks ago I personally installed an A&A Vortech kit on my 09 Vette. I have zero (0) regrets with either build, but the SC is an incredible upgrade.
Pros: Centri SC is Turbo like in that the boost is rpm dependent and does not SHOCK your drivetrain. I am far more comfortable allowing my wife to drive my 600 rwhp Vette than I was the GTO. Case in point, she crashed the GTO!!! I still get 27 mpg @ 65 mph!!!!
Cons: Without the benenfit of a stall converter (Circld D 3200-3400 in the dining room) and a small shot of methanol (my May mod project), you might not have the that <50 mph tire fryer.
Both cost approximately the same and IMHO install a SC and meth. I promise you'll want to buy me a beer!!!

Take a look at my car. Videos are posted here. Get the ECS supercharger, meth, cam, you will be very happy that you spent the money in this direction. If you are looking for a really good tuner and awesome shop to have the install done at go down south to Lethal Racing. Tell Shawn, Mike or Nick that I sent ya
