I've asked a few guys and they didn't know either so instead of just a PM I figured I would make a thread for everyones education lol.
So with the ECS Meth kit. I see 2 colors coming from my LED. A red light as the supercharger is spooling up around 4/5lb and once it hits a higher boost level a green light.
Can anyone tell me what exaclty they mean? like exactly when each comes on and such?
I thought the Red indicated you're about to be in boost, basically a warning that the meth will be spraying once it hits green?
Email from Julio....
When the LED goes red means system has turned on and pump is being sent voltage. Typically will be spraying when LED is red.. just that the pressure is less than 50 PSI.
Example at 40 PSI liquid pressure the LED will be red. 40 PSI alcohol is being used.
Once the system hits 50 PSI, the led changes from red to green.. So any pressure above 50 is a green light condition.

Hope this helps,

Makes sense, I was told when ECS installed my kit but it's been awhile. I don't normally watch my boost gauge just see the light in my peripheral vision.
Wait thought red meant something was wrong. Like not spraying when it is suppose to. I got out the throttle thinking red meant bad. So never saw green..
Red definitely isn't bad. If you step on it at a lower rpm in a centri car, it'll be red until there's enough boost to warrant higher pump output.
I don't have the Alky system on my PD setup yet, but I'd imagine it'll still turn red momentarily as pressure builds.
when you turn the box with the test button all the way to the left and click off does the red light n the box go off? Mine is staying on and I think it is spraying a little even though the LED doesn't come on
If I had the instructions. I wouldnt of spent 20 mins googling ****. Trying to get response from shop on a Sunday.
..
Common sense would tell you if a guy is googling ****. The instructions probably aren't near by
If you don't like red/green then just buy a new dual color LED for it. I had to replace mine and just used another green/red but they have yellow/blue, and a few other choices.
