Connecting Rod Help Needed...
So, my car has been sitting apart in the shop for over a month now, apparently because obtaining a Callies 6.125" H-Beam Connecting Rod takes that long. The information I am getting is that the conrod has been ordered but it just doesn't show up. I am starting to get impatient...
Does it seriously take that long to get one rod??? Does anyone have one of those in stock?
And if it is going to take that long, how much does a complete set of rods cost? My power levels are such that I imagine any forged rod would work just fine; I'd rather waste the money and get 8 than keep waiting for something that, for all I know, could take another month or longer.
Just want the damn thing back on the road. What a complete moneypit nightmare this whole forged engine experience has been!
D@mn man! If it wasnt for bad luck right? Did you post up in the for sale/wanted section by chance? Just a thought. Maybe a vendor has one? At least when your done it will be bullet proof!
Sorry to hear that man! Well whoever buys it is going to have one hell of a build sheet! Or three! Though I hope you get it done and decide to keep it! If not whats next? Car I mean? Best of luck on the rods.

Ive never heard of waiting that long for a rod. They usually have a ton of them in stock. A dragonslayer crank is a diff story. I will call and find out tomorrow for you. You can always use a K1 rod. I would trust them to the same power.
