Default I'm speechless.

Finally got to really whoop on my car tonight since the blower went on.

All I will say is... WOW.

I've owned and driven some pretty fast stuff over the years, some as fast as low-8's @ 165, others were 9, 10 and 11 sec vehicles at some point or another during the time I had them... none of which were very streetable or drivable.

I have got to say... my current car is without a doubt the most fun and enjoyable car out of all that I've owned. I can drive this thing anywhere and still love every minute behind the wheel. It is still (in my opinion) an extremely conservative and mild combination of parts. 630+RWHP is more than adequate for me. (for now)
The new Audi RS4 that wanted to play tonight ? (In Mexico of course) he was the first victim and didn't have a chance.

Yep, that pretty much sums it up. That's the power of A&A and some great tuning!

I've romped on it a few times, but haven't really abused it until now.

I can't afford to fix it if I break it.

The stock pistons/rods, stock trans and stock rear are always in the back of my mind when my foot is on the floor.

It still amazes me when I think back to the late 80's/early 90's and what I had to do to make 600-700HP. My first 9-sec timeslip came in 1993 with a solid roller 14-1 BBC in a 70 Camaro on a NOS Cheater plate. It only ran 11.20's on the motor and needed CAMII in the tank.

If you had told me back then that I could daily-drive a 600+RWHP car on pump gas and still get 25+mpg... I would have thought you were nuts.

I can't wait to see where we are in another 20 years. (If I live that long )

Thanks again for the smokin deal and awesome/secure packaging. Pretty sure it would have survived an air cargo drop from a C130.

My ONLY regret is that I was unable to spend the money with one of the many great site sponsors. I spoke with RPT and ECS and was very close to pulling the trigger on a new kit when I stumbled onto the used kit. I feel bad that I wasted those guys' time on the phone and via email.

Hopefully I can spend some money with them next time I'm shopping for some go-fast goodies.

Thanks again to Fran and his guys at http://www.raceprovenmotorsports.net/ They were all fantastic to deal with and do awesome work.

It all works out in the end. The money you gave me went right back to one of those vendors so don't feel bad about that.

What other mods and pulley size you running to get the 630 if you dont mind me asking. I'm right at 550rwhp and I want to swap the pulley and see if I can make 600-650 to the wheels. Right now its mostly stock with a Procharger P-1SC-1 and a smaller pulley @7lbs. Alcohol and long tube headers as well.

As a side note I got a general F/I question. If I pulled the cats and installed a O/R pipe I know the boost reading would probably show up a little lower but I should see the same HP or possibly more with a better flowing system right?

The ONLY mods to my car are:

Fast102 intake (unported)
Stainless Works 1-7/8" headers & 3" catless mid-pipe
Flowmaster mufflers
160 T-stat
NGK BR7ES plugs
Trick Flow SFI balancer
A&A V3 S-trim blower
3.4" pulley
ECS Meth injection

I'm seeing exactly 12lbs of boost. The engine is otherwise unopened and bone stock.
It made 636rwhp and 562rwtq through the stock 4L65 trans and 3.15 gears.
I never bothered with the kit-recommended 3.8" pulley. I went straight to the 3.4" pulley and hung a meth kit on it instead.

I haven't ruled out a set of Trick Flow CNC'd 225 heads and a decent cam yet. That might put me closer to 700rwhp.

Not sure at what point I need to worry about kicking the rods out of it... but I'm bound to find out if I keep upping the horsepower.

I had it tuned at RPM on a Friday... and drove to Ocean City, MD on Sunday. It still runs and drives like a bone stock car.

That's exactly the power I'm looking for. I want a little more torque on the low end and hopefully still keep traction up top. I love the pull of the centri and the stock feeling you have when under part throttle but I still want a little more of a kick in the pants.

When my dad owned the car he bent some pushrods and valves by missing a shift so I have new springs, pushrods and valves which have held up extremely well.

I just want the stock clutch and bottom end to hold a little more power. I never track the car but I do get on it every now and then. It's just nice to spin the tires and also pull like a freight train.

I figured a pulley swap and a good tune would be perfect. I can lean the car out a little since she's somewhat rich and the meth should help me with more timing.

Sound like a happy camper for now, your car is looking good and your accomplishment for now is good, but a little advice, the fast 102mm intake don't like too much boost, it leaks and is hard to determine, you can be loosing boost and don't even know. The fast intake is pretty and very reliable for a NA car but not a boosted car, ask me how I know and I will say well I had first hand experience with leaking issues and had to change 2 intakes.
