Here is my take.......

Safety-tune car without Meth. Then add Meth without adding timing but only adjust A/F.
Power- tune car using the octane advantage so if Meth fails you will get detonation.

Also on either you can set the computer to watch meth flow by following IAT and drop timing/ richen mix if the IATs jump ie Meth failure.

For all the anti-meth people; what happens when your fuel pump fails, or you get bad gas, or a wire on your fuel injector melts and you suddenly to lean. I have seen a few BAP failures on this forum and people still use them.

When you modify cars things you increase things that can fail, no matter what part it is.

I don't think the tuner is a moron, perhaps your situation really won't benefit from it. It really depends on how hard you are pushing the car and what IAT's you are seeing. Meth boils at 149 degrees, add in pressure to that equation and it might take 160+ degrees to get it to evaporate to the point where it will be effective. Our shop turbo car is non intercooled and runs 210 IAT's we spray meth to it and knock 70 degrees off that number. Most base supercharged & intercooler late model cars don't see anywhere near those IAT's so the benefit really doesn't exist for them unless you need a secondary fuel source.

Even on setups that do not run extremely hot, meth still cools things down. The act of going from the high pressure line to the intake stream flashes it to a vapor and chills the charge down by a worth while amount.

That said, without meth... I hit 170+ regularly.

If the car can be tuned to run at let's say 11.5.1 AFR on pump gas alone you can throw a small nozzle on it and while spraying will drop AFR .5 point. So it runs 11.0:1 with meth. And creates an extra safety margin on a bad fuel source or weakens fuel system.'the power lost by dropping .5 AFR is made up by the way the method works.
Or be like me and run 25 psi boost on an 88 mm turbo and understand I need to test and be on top of the system responsible in keeping my engine together.

Many uses for this stuff... The more you spray. The more you need to be on top of testing and keeping fresh pumps on the car.

Anyone have pics of install on a Procharged car? Need to figure out placement of the nozzle and such. Thanks.
