Default ECS vs UPP

Decisions Decisions Decisions....

Ultimate goal is 600whp/Mid to High 10 second pass is all I'd like
Wont buy either kit with there injectors. Will be buying ID1000's.
Currently car just has a axle back exhaust. If I go ECS, I will buy headers.
Install will be down myself along with buddies.
Car is A6.
No intentions of ever building the motor. Will be ok with doing a cam if I decide to do the supercharger.
Mid to High 10 second pass is all I'd like

Key to running good times is traction. I would ask some of the fast auto guys. Call RPM.

Circle D makes great converters. Not sure who else. CCW drag pack is awesome. So are weld RTSs.

I don't even think you will need to touch the gears or install a stall.

If you would install a cam, stall, and gear you would be going even faster.

ECS kit, tune, meth, headers...

If I put a matching cam and converter in my car, I'd be looking to go WAY in the 9s.

I would be totally happy running a 10 second pass and never worrying about the motor letting go.

If all you want is mid to high 10s, don't even bother with a blower or turbos...

Heads, cam, intake, headers/full exhaust and a GOOD converter will get you in the high 10s, especially if its an LS3 car... Put it all together, get a good tune and forget about it.... Low maintenance and very low chance of ever hurting a motor..

Anything with forced induction has a higher probability of killing a motor.

I would go ECS route for what you have in mind. No need to spend money on ID1000s either. 60lbers would do it all day. You don't even really need a drag pack to run mid 10's. Nitto NT05Rs are plenty.

What's up dude,
I love my TT's, but for what you want, I'd say go with the ECS kit. You really can't go wrong with the power ECS/A&A produces with the ease of installation compared to a TT kit on these cars.

Gotta love the ID1000's too.

Long tube headers aren't needed for 600 rwhp, nor are ID1000 injectors.

Default A&A Corvette S/C for some fun

You could run our kit with a nice converter and get the numbers you want with room to grow.

Here is Ronnie's '05 Stock LS2 A4 vette that runs a 6.89@99mph in the 1/8 mile with a soft 1.57 60ft. That would be about a 10.72 in the 1/4 mile.

Specs:
A&A V3 Si-trim 3.6 pulley
Yank 3200 stall
M/T 305/18 drag radials

Stock exhaust manifolds and cats still
Magnaflow catback mufflers
Stock A4 diff

ECS or similar all day.

TT always seems to cost more. KISS (Keep it simple stupid) for your goals.

ID's are only injectors i'll use...coming from a honda these are like gold to us! lol

Coming from the honda world, I was dead set on the turbo setup but i'm just not sure if it's as realiable as the blower kits on the LS motor

For those modest goals an ECS/A&A kit will get you there easier and cheaper

Then go with the ID-850, or even the 725's if they fit the LS2. I have the 850's since they're a direct drop in for the LS3 manifold, and they are still way more injector than I need at ~700 whp.
