Default White smoke blowing out of oil cap. Compression test looks good.. Help

Driving home a couple weeks ago, I came to a stop light, and the car died. I tried to start it and it didn't want to start. Finally got it started but had to keep my foot on the pedal to keep it from stalling. Drove home (about a mile) put it in the garage, there was smoke pouring out from under the hood.

Well today I finally got around to looking at it. I did a compression test and they all turned out good, 190ish on all cylinders.

What next?

No weird noises.
Oil looked fine,
Coolant looked fine.

The car doesn't like to run, I have to keep my foot on the pedal to keep it running.

is your motor stock or is it forged?
it isnt uncommon to get some smoke out of the filler cap especially if the motor is forged, larger ring end gap..
now does it smoke like a train or is it smaller puffs?
take a vid and post.
