be very carful with the track, i do not think the prep
is going to be there for rwd cars,
Excellent words of wisdom - I (and I suspect Nick) will be hanging back for a bit to see how traction appears before running or running hard. That said, watching some of the CRAZY powerful cars while making our decision will be a welcome scouting event for me. When I'm not running, I'll be recording to be shared with you all. When running, I think I'll have a stand in videographer, plus roll bar go pro (so you can see how shi.t.t.y I drive) and maybe some outside gopro.
Wow, I remember Sean Ivey from my old DSM days. Great dude, super nice. I'm glad to see him doing well in the GTR business.
Good luck out there.
I've not met/spoken to Sean, but Joel here (Rez90) who has an ECS supercharged Z06 and a GTR has given Sean incredible praise for his work in the GTR world. I've haunted the various GTR forums and all I come upon re: Sean is incredible shop, builder and tuner. I'm super stoked to see his Alpha car run. If the track is there, I wouldn't be surprised to see 160+ mph in the 1/4 from some of these AWD cars.
It was 10+ years ago when Sean and I would chat online all the time. Flew out to Ohio a few times and hung out at the DSM shootout with him. Was just surprised. Small world. A name I haven't seen in 7-8 years and I click on a link and there he is. The performance car world is a pretty small place. He moved onto GTRs and I went to v8s.
