Default Fast ?

My 06 (A6) has a blower cam in it and an A&A V3 kit waiting to be installed. I still have the stock intake. Is a FAST worth the $1000 with installing the S/C? When I do this I want to do it once and be done, but if the gains aren't there then I don't want to waste $.

I originally had a FAST 90 when the blower was put on 7 years ago. When the boost was turned up the FAST was removed due to no burst panels. Looking back I wish I would have put on another. Probably 20-25hp gains.

I feared the same burst issue when I installed my ProCharger 6 years ago, so I installed a Performance Products Typhoon aluminum intake. The only complaint I might have is that it does retain heat more than a plastic manifold. But, it will never burst!

depending on what fast 90/92/102? there may be issues with the fitment of the a&a bracket.

i had an A&A with a 92, and had to make a custom p/s res bracket and flip the tb and extend its harness.

I had a Procharger with a Fast 102, nothing but problems I had with it, I called Fast and they replaced it 3 times, well I sold the third one new in the original box for half price.
With forced induction the most important factor is strength, its forced induction so it will flow through almost anything with a good enough flow, like stock. I am presently running the stock intake and is making 816rwhp on my C6 and on my C5 I am running the LS6 intake and is making 914 RWHP through a 4L80E and all these numbers are on a Mustang Dyno.

Burst panels are necessary to reduce damage in case of backfire.

So are the gains in my setup worth spending the $ on a FAST 102?
