Default Will a "direct/flip drive" let you limp home when belt breaks?

The title says it all.

If the SC belt breaks on an A and A kit e.g., can one still "limp" home if you have a "flip/direct drive"?

Thanks guys!

If the S/C belt breaks, you will lose the water pump. Therefore, I would not recommend driving it if the S/C belt breaks.

I would think that you would have other belt issues before the supercharger belt issues.

I agree with these guys. If you spring for the EWP when you install your flip drive, if you kick off the S/C belt, you will be able to drive it home.

But, just installing a flip drive does not mean you can limp it home.

Lets keep it simple... No! Unless you have an electric water pump as well. Otherwise, you'll overheat and toast ur car... Literally.

Lol I figured you prob did. Only reason I know the answer is cause I threw a belt and got all the warning lights. Shut the car down immediately and didn't have a single issue but that would be a costly mistake to make to keep driving it. Lol

Been using the Meziere EWP for 5 years. Just recently had it rebuilt by the factory. Good product.
