Good question!
I have a K&N cleaning kit and it looks like a gauze filter. I suspect I will use it when the time comes unless somebody has a better idea.
I'd be concerned about using the K&N filter oil. I don't think your MAF sensor will like it.
Interesting, I have used it with other MAF's. Wondering what the problem would be.
I'll contact Edelbrock and find out what they recommend. I'm not one to risk an unnecessary expense ruining my MAF.
On a side note no more than I get to drive mine I probably not have to worry about it for several years - darn rain!
Thanks for the feedback guys. Keep us posted with edelbrocks response
Maybe if I leave the filter dirty I can choke off some of the boost I picked up with the OD balancer 13.7 is a little high for me

3.5 up top and 10% OD below on stock everything else but headers
Interesting. I guess the OD damper makes more difference than I thought. I was making less with a 3.25 and stock damper, stock with headers.
I'm now making less still with a 3 inch and OD damper but its a whole different setup so I can't compare now.
Yea 10%? a little more. I'm thinking of going 3.75" but the car drives so great during auto-x its hard to change. I'm gonna get some Torco none the less.
