I know this has probably been discussed. I read the best fuel system for 1000 hp thread. My car is an LS3 auto, with a standard A&A kit with a 3.8 pulley, headers, catback 225/230 cam on a 114 with PRC 250cc heads.
The car made 664rwhp and 591rwtq, i currently have 80lb injectors and the stock fuel pump with a boost a pump.
Since the bottom end is stock i am not going to turn the boost up. I want to switch to E85 for the saftey and a lil more power without turning boost up.
Are the 80lb injectors big enough? what type of fuel system is good with E85 and around this power level.
at 682hp/739tq I'm running 71% Injector duty cycle with a 1:1 regulator using ID1000 injectors, 58(4bar)base pressure.
Seeing that your injectors are around 20% smaller, or mine are 25% bigger, you will be right at 100% duty cycle, but the fact that you are still on factory rail with no boost reference, you will be way past max with the 80's.
Who makes the fuel system doesn't matter. I'm using 103# FIC LS3/7/9 injectors. You might ask him if he can do a trade in with your current injectors also. Or just sell them.
I can't post a link, but if you replace the dot with a (.) that will take you to what I have.
