Default BEST streetable FI setup (Auto)

Hello All,

I am shopping around for a Corvette to be my daily driver in the soon future due to issues i am having with my Knee's trying to drive a stick anymore. I currently have an 2009 VW Jetta Diesel TDI with a Compound turbo setup that i cherish and love alot but i have had absolutely no luck with converting it to DSG (vw auto) so i can continue to drive it on the street. Origionally it started life out as a Manual requiring an twin disk clutch due to the amount of torque it makes at full boost but i was forced to switch it to an DSG due to my knee swelling up on me from driving anymore after my 2nd knee surgery. I puked the stock DSG built with upgraded internal clutches within a week of daily driving it and after having it built by one of the top DSG builders in the country i have yet again destroyed it again without ever getting to race it.

So i am looking for a fun car to drive that is an Auto and i am wanting to know what is the best setup to go for, for an AutoX reliable and streetable FI setup. I have been shopping around for corvettes and i have found a few 2002-2004 C5's for good price but i have also found a few HIGH mileage 140-160k mile C6's 2005-2007 range for under 20k over the past 2 weeks. I enjoy autocrossing alot so i want to continue to enjoy that sport so i am not looking for an HP Queen as that is no use on the track if you dont have everything else that cost a fortune to control it. So i am looking for some advice on a dead reliable setup.. probably in the 500-600 range that is easily streetable and isnt going to destroy the MPG the car would get if i daily drove it. I enjoy the sport of AutoX but i understand i will not beat the cars that typically win because i see alot of Vipers, and Porsches that have over 200k in the car that religiously take those places.. I just wanna be able to enjoy a few weekends a month at the track and it not be DEAD LAST.

The car must use the Auto transmission whichever one you recommend.
Also the car has to be pump gas reliable.

Here is the car i currently AutoX, Its not the fastest but its fun and reliable. Currently makes just north of 700wtq...

Avoid 05 since it is a bastard year with many issues. Plus it runs the 4 speed tranny compared to the 6 speed, weak rear end, etc. Any of the blower kits are reliable. ECS is my choice but any of them can be put on and be dead reliable and get to your goals.
