e-force on ls2, installed..
there's a few items I wanted to post about. mine was an non z51. so I didn't have to worry about the oil cooler. but I did notice the templates for drilling hole for the lines for the radiator for intercooler was off. not an huge problem, as I just made the holes bigger. could've been my mistake?
also I lowered the engine cradle, raised the engine up to keep from having to remove the steering rack. this does provide 'just" enough room to remove the crank bolt, and pin the crank. I used the instructions from magnuson's ls2 supercharger install. very easy. JUST MAKE SURE TO REMOVE THE OIL PRESSURE SENSOR. before you jack engine....this to me was far easier, less messy, quicker to pin the crank.
also the edlebrock instructions for the coolant pump was very vague on position of pump, fwd or aft. I would leave it kinda loose in its bracket, till your done with installing front nose back onto car. just before you install the inner fenders, you can still reach in there to pump and tighten it down in its bracket...I ran into an problem with the pump connector hitting the inner duct for car radiator. had to re-position the pump further aft..
now for the crank bolt, this will make you work for it. be sure to grab an friend for this..i had to use an 3/4" drive breaker bar with an 5 foot extension pipe. to break mine loose. my friend held the bar/socket on to the bolt head while I pushed/pulled on the pipe...very nerve racking..i piled an punch of towels onto the fender in case things slipped...which they didn't. use care, when doing this. gm didn't want this bolt to move....as for the engine moving...it didn't as I put trans in 6th gear, set e-brake. some people say someone has to stay in car to hold the brakes. I didn't. lucky, maybe...
as you go through the install, instructions tell you to install fan, wait for that, till you get to the point of installing the edlebrock pullies and tensinors. the one has an small bracket with recessed bolts in it. your gonna need an long allen head wrench/socket to tighten the bolts...when doing this, the fan will be in the way...plus. it will provide more room to install the serpentine belt, then install fan.. just my opinion....
lastly, power steering tank. simple task, pita!!!!!!!. they want you to remove the lower hose, going from tank to pump, so you can replace an bracket. simple sounding, but to gain access to that clamp to remove the hose to tank.. pita!!! I found that an pair of those long nose needle pliers, with an bent 90 degrees at end. worked for me. but still took a lot of tries and a bunch of bad words....I hate those factory spring clamps!
rest of install, just parts removal/install. I don't have an lift, used jack stands....I did what I could from above, then jacked the car, then did the rest from below, then finished when car back down...worked really well, I only had to jack it the one time....I took a few hours looking over the instructions and the car to figure out what to do above/below the car....
hope this helps somebody who is thinking of installing one of these e-force kits.....
good day boys and girls....

A tip to save a lot of grief... If the car is a manual, make sure you remove the alternator pulley bolt, put red Loctite on it, and reinstall. If not it could spin off and leave you stranded.
