Default how much boost?

Ok im new here and new to the corvette world. Im from the procharged mustang world haha. But got tired of the mustang fad so here we are. I now own a 08 ls3 c6 with an a&a t trim kit, ls9 cam and full aeromotive fuel system, kooks long tubes and a few other things. Its currently tuned on 91 octane with 11 psi peak at 7k rpm. I live down in southeast texas about 1300 ft lower in elevation from where the car was initially tuned in kansas and we have 93 octane.

My question is how much boost will these ls3 motors handle. I really want to throw the smaller 3.4 pulley on it and make more power on just 93 pump gas. I dont know the limits of these motors or what people consider safe. Just looking for some advice from experienced guys. Thanks for and tips and advice.

10 psi and less seems to be the concesus for longevity but its also in the tune.

I guess it depends on how much power you want.

Ls3 is a strong engine. If you want more power I wouldn't hesitate to turn up the wick, lots of ls3 making over 800, if power isn't what you want i would retune for 93 and the lower elevation, that alone would get you a few more ponys..

I've run a 2.87" pulley on my T-trim and stock LS3. My stupid timing chain broke though.

I wouldn't hesitate to put a 3.25" pulley on it. Add some methanol to be safe and let her rip!

You also incurred some extra expense on your blower rebuild due to overspinning it too. 3.25/7.5 is about max for a 6 rib T trim/ 1500 V2. With a V3 I would stick to 3.4/7.5

More power is definitly what i want. Already have a dual nozzle alky control kit to throw on it. Pretty sure i would be satified for a while with 750 on pump gas and meth. And to everyone else thanks for the responses.
