Default LS7 titanium rods

How much power, what conditions, and what kind of setup have you seen these live through? NA/F.I./Nitrous

I have heard of 7-800 in a nitrous car but it didn't run long before it ate ringlands. The rods were fine when they came out though.

I ask because the black car in the profile has an project that will start in June 1St so what I am looking to know which pistons do you recommend with the ti rods and how much boost can I run on the D1SC head unit?

Wiseco and Diamond both make a oem forged replacement piston that will work with the goofy length factory Ti rod.

so you're telling me to use the car 700 not 800 for this season then I order a short block!! since you call the ti "goofy" means it's not ready to get more boost on it!@

I called the Ti rods goofy because of the length, and unless you're going to get aftermarket rods, you have to use a forged "oem replacement" size / style piston. Other wise, get forged 6.125 rods and your piston options will expand greatly.

And as far as reliability goes, in my opinion, that's 90% determined by the tune.

But here's some actual advice, as opposed to opinions ( even mine ). You're looking for 7-800HP? I'd consult a reputable shop or engine builder that deals with 800-1000HP LS7 engines on a fairly regular basis. They will know better than 99% of the people / opinions you'll find on this board, what you can / could and can't / shouldn't do when it comes to the LS7.

Good luck with your build dude!

thanks buddy,

I already contact a lot of performance shops and waiting for the replays.

hopefully I'll be in 800-850HP cause the 700 will be easy to hit with the H/C

I'll keep an eyes on here also to get some more informations that may help.

thanks again.

Best,
Mubarak.
