The biggest argument you will get here against them is the "heat soak issue". I don't think it's that bad, but since you are in the sunshine state let's admit the 1st thing up front you will have if you DON"T go with an Eforce and that is you will have this huge intercooler IN FRONT of your rad/a/c condenser.
So my friend I'm buying it off of said he had no issues with the AC running on his car with the supercharger. Am I reading you correctly in that you are saying if I go with anything other than an E-Force that may be a problem with other company's intercoolers?

What do you mean?

I run mine pretty much once a week at the drag strip. It runs very consistent low 7's 1/8th mile @103mph and in really good air sub 7's. It went 11.20 @ 130 mph in 96 degree weather at Zmax on the 1st day of the Hot Rod Power Tour this past June on a ZERO prepped track. I really wanted my 10sec slip, but it wasn't to be there that day. It's kinda hard to find a quarter mile track that will let you run under the roll bar rule.
I agree I'm more of a track numbers guy. I totally forgot about the roll cage rule at the track. That's only if you hit 10.99 or faster if I recall correct?

My friend has crappy run flats and while it spins in second I was able to get it to somewhat hook up as the speeds increased in 2nd. I can only imagine my stickier non-run flats may do better. You daily drive short trips on DRs? Isn't that dangerous, esp if it rains?

Good luck and let us know what you do.
UPDATE...just bought an ECS 1500 kit from a local vendor for a great price. Gets installed in about 2 weeks. $5500 parts/tune/install. Brand new. Had to be an idiot to not go for it.
So went with a centri blower.
Not my engine bay but I have a black car and went with a matte black it'll look like this.
Could you do us a favor? Please weigh all the E-Force components before installation and then after the installation, weigh all the stock parts you removed and let us know the difference in weight. I'm interested in knowing how much weight the E-Force adds to the car.

I remember motorhead 47 doing just that. Should turn up with a search.

can't do it. I'm not going with the E-Force any more. Parts were no longer available.
I can ask the installer to weigh it before and after but he'll be working on my car while I'm out of town.

I kept up with all the posts when Motorhead 47 was doing the E-Force installations but never did see a definitive answer as to the net weight increase. One person did weigh the parts he removed(33 pounds) but he didn't weigh the parts he installed(E-force). Motorhead 79 weighed the supercharger itself(79 pounds) but not with all the additional parts that had to be added to complete the installation. Some people were referring to the shipping weight of the E-Force, but I never did see where anyone actually weighed the unboxed E-Force with all it's extra parts including coolant etc.

The entire kit weighs in at about 105lbs with the majority being the 80 pound head unit which replaces the intake manifold. I recall we measured the parts/pieces removed from the car that are not reinstalled being about 30-35lbs. The numbers are out there in past threads if someone wants to dig. I believe the total plus up to be 80-85lbs with fluids added.

It dropped my front end about 3/4 inches. 4 turns on the levelers brought it back up to spec. Of course if you wanted the lower look, you could just lower the back end to match.
