Default Winter Storage

I know this topic has been beaten to death but I'm getting ready to put the car away and have a few questions for you supercharged/forced folks. My main concern is regarding fuel. I was planning to fill the tank and put some Stabil in. I talked to a buddy and he says that he stores his with as little fuel in it as possible. His reasoning for that is because the ethanol can cause the fuel to go bad fast and why would you want a full tank of bad gas. Kind of makes sense but isn't that what the Stabil is for? I've been storing my other cars like this for many years without any issues but most weren't as heavily modified as this one and I'm a little paranoid. So how do you do it, full tank, empty, Stabil, no Stabil? Lol.

Secondly, would you guys have any reservation leaving a battery tender hooked up with the car covered and unattended all Winter? I'm a little concerned about it and was thinking about pulling the battery and bringing it home but I hear that's a major pita on the GS/Z models with the trunk mounted batteries.

Any input is appreciated.

I stored a car for like 6 months through the winter w/ E85 w/ no addtives and the fuel still tested about what it came out of the pump as (~E80), and the car fired right up and no issues from fuel damaging anything.
