Default Nitrous vs D1SC

I currently my ls2 is cam only on 100 shot. Makes mid 500 whp and runs mid 10s.
Wanting to go boost and I know the d1sc can make good power on meth on the stock motor, but from my experience I've raced blower cars that make a good amount of more power than me and my car hangs right with them or even pulls sometimes.
I'm honestly just tired of relying on having nitrous all the time if I want to be competitive. Where as boost is readily available at all times

What's your guys thoughts?

I'm not sure what you trap right now but a d1 vette making around 700 should trap about 135 and be reliable. It's worth it to always have boost on demand. Gl with the build

You'll never run out of boost.

I like nitrous.. I REALLY like nitrous.. But I think its better for a race car than a street car. Supercharged is the way to go, no tanks to go empty on ya. I would keep the gas if you get a blower though.. Nitrous and boost is the best of both worlds.

Right now the car traps 132 and only makes 530whp so only gaining 3mph with over 150+ more horse

I swear you are my long lost brother or something.

What he said. Only thing I would consider is look at other kits (ECS & A&A). Not a fan or procharger kits (great blowers, kits are not up to par IMO and experience).

Big difference than running it on a stock bottom end, especially after 1-2 weeks to say the car is reliable without track times, etc.

Good deal, that's the smart way to do it. No reason to drop big money on forged crank and aftermarket heads for a lot of us.
