Just do a meth kit and don't worry about the radiator.
Copy. I will be ordering that soon, possibly today. I will make an appointment with Chad on my return and probably have him install the kit and you re-tune it of course

And in the essence of staying off the ban list, I'll keep my mouth shut.
Maybe you should just fix your customer's car so he doesn't get ran over by a head/cam car.
Yea, you better be careful bro mods banned me for getting upset that wheel$forle$$ stole $2000 from me and didnt refund nor deliver any damn to me when i deployed. Thieves... Mods did nothing.. Way to thank a vet
Epi, it won't be until July. Luckily, meth is really easy to deal with.
Dave,
I ordered the meth kit yesterday. I won't be home until 19-20 June. Are you moving in early July? I have a couple of planned days off on the 25th and on just for a few days but I'll be out of state again.
As for radiator do full size unless you want 1100 or more later. Ecs dongle had no issues making 1089rwhp so unless you plan on more than that do full size. Cut down requires fans.
I know nothing about tuning, or how high IATs get on a boosted car, but I consider myself very well experienced with hot weather. I have not seen any really hot temperatures at all in the Illinois region yet this year. I think the highest I've seen was 86 degrees. Are we saying a boosted car, safely tuned without meth, can't cope with this temperature?

It depends what you mean by "cope"
It's more the physics of it.. hot air=more likely to have spark knock, supercharger or not. Even GM's tunes from the factory start pulling timing around 86*F intake air temps, so it's completely normal to pull timing at some point to avoid knock
You can either cool the air down via meth, add more octane, or reduce timing to a point that it won't knock
Thus the reason so many people run meth. You get more octane and it cools down intake air temps.

You got it man! What happens here is that when I'm at the track waiting on the lines, there's no flow of air through the intercooler. Once I do the burnout the IATs go even higher when the boost hits. By the time I leave the line the IATs are around 130* and since I asked Dave to tune it safely for durability the ECM is certainly pulling timing. It doesn't help that max is set at 11-12*.
The good news is that an Alky Meth kit is on the way and that should take care of the safety concern and power loss.
