Default Plug wires

Had an faint intermittent miss at part throttle so I figured the car was ready for fresh plugs. We're heading up to Watkins Glen( 5 hr drive each way)in two weeks for the race so I want the car tip top. After changing out the plugs the tiny miss is still there. No codes so now I'm going to swap out the plug wires. They're the original wires and the car has 40K miles on it.
The car is an 06 has LG long tubes and a vortech T-trim. What plug wires are you guys using? Where are you getting them? I'd like to order tomorrow and have them within the two weeks.
Is anyone using the OE wires as replacements on their SC'd cars?

OEM with heat socks to protect them from those headers.

These are what I use.. Firecore50 best there is IMO.

Have you tried to diagnose the coils themselves? Taken off the coil on the cylinder that's misfiring and swap with another to see if it follows?

I just might go OE. They held up well for 6 years.

I figured I'm due for wires anyway so I'll get them and see if that solves the issue. If not, I'm going to check the coils. I don't even know at this point which one is misfiring so I'll take the easy route of wires first.
Thanks guys, any other Wire suggestions welcomed.

OEM worked well for years but when I did change I went with Firecore 50. I don't think there is a better wire and I am sure there isn't better customer service than those guys.

Firecore50's without any hesitation. Do a search here, and google. Those that switch, never go back.

Running MSD, but only because they were on the car when I got it

OEM wires and heat shields work just fine and is what I will replace these with sooner or later

I agree that OEM work fine.... but.... Firecores are better, maintain the stock heat shields... and are almost the same price. If there was a big price difference I would have stayed with oem, but it was only a few dollars.

The Firecore50 boots alone are worth the cost. They are so heavy duty I don't think you could break one if you tried. Best quality I've seen.

My OEM wires were $54. I thought the fire core were ~100?

Price discrepancy seems a bit weird, but doesn't rally matter to me because for 50 bucks more I still would go with Firecore..... LOL
