Just made my payment for an ECS Supercharger kit in matte black today!! Now I can finally join the F.I. club! So fricken excited I can't stand it! Thanks Matt @ FSP!! Wondering what kind of rwhp this will bring. I've got so far on my 05 roadster:
Kooks 1 7/8" Headers
Kooks X-Pipe - catless
Corsa Sport exhaust
160' Thermostat
3.15 Gears
CoW Booster (A4)
Was going to go with a ECS Blower Cam first but Matt gave me an offer I couldn't refuse.
Congrats! May I recommend you get an alky control meth kit? My car was a beast during the winter months, now not so much. I have one waiting to be installed and I can't wait since it sucks to lose all that power due to the higher IATs.

That mod will definately be next but probably later this year or late winter. Are you doing it yourself? Thanks!
Arctic, I am going to try and DIY. I put a Edelbrock S/C on my Mustang GT 5 years ago and it took me a week working every night when I got home from work. Although the directions are not as clear cut in the ECS manual as the Edelbrock, it seems straight forward. My harmonic balancer has already been pinned and 160' thermostat installed so I can skip those two steps. Seems like the pinning of the crank was the major pain in the a**. I am going to try and take pics along the way and try to post them. WHo knows, maybe it'll help someone out with their install one day. Definately going with a Meth kit later this year as well.
Two questions, if you install a Meth kit, does the restrictor stay in, have to be taken out, or does it get replaced with a different one altogether? Anyone install their own Meth kit, is it hard to do?

Yes, I would be installing it myself and for the first time take a shot a tuning for it too. Sometimes it is cheaper to get it all done at the same time. A re-tune later on it's going to cost you some cash again unless your tuner is really nice.
From what I can tell it's not hard at all to install. Just make sure you don't wire it incorrectly. If you're going all out then by all means pull the restrictor, but me for example I plan to open it 1/16 based on what Doug told me which equals to around 1psi. I want use it more for safety and consistency. I'm going to add some timing based on the IATs but keep it safe above 100*.

You picked the right shop for your build. BTW, if you see a Torch Red 2012 GS there I am hoping to pick it up soon.

Restrictor is on you but I took mine out because I have a built trans.. 09harley kept his in but I think it is trimmed for a little more boost and he has the Alky kit. The Meth kit is easier than the SC, just ensure a good ground and don't f up the wiring lol..
I was thinking of getting a dual gauge pillar and two gauges. What do you guys think: Fuel Pressure and Air/Fuel Ratio? I know I could go with a Dashlogic but I personally like the look of the pillar gauges as i'm not trying to be "stealth". Anyone know where to get the dual gauge pillar? Thanks in advance.
Yeah, that was my question too!
When a guy named "ChokeU", posts a thread named "Finally, Getting BLOWN!", that's what I call an "attention getter"!!
Thought for a second I was on redtube...

Auto Meter or SLP I think are the ones who make them.
