Default Another UPP car

Got the car finished up this week. Install and tuning was done at Proxses tuning. Overall the kit is pretty nice. We had to modify the drivers side DP because no matter what we did it just wouldn't fit. CK@ UPP was very helpful over the phone and even sent another hot side for us. Fit was better but still not close to working. The other change that was made was to put an AN fitting on the valve cover for the oil return line, instead of using the oil cap.

Wrapped the hot side and used some gold heat shield to keep the heat out.

Added a Doug Rippie oil cooler. Placement isn't ideal. I'm curious to see how well it works on a track day.

Oil return.

While the car was apart we added a Hinson Motorsports tow hook. Beaker can point the way.

All finished

The car made 610/589 @ 7 psi running 12 degrees of timing and 93 octane.

Here's a short vid. It makes all the right sounds!

Sounds pretty nice! 610whp for a $6000 turbo kit is not bad at all. I almost went this route with my car but was afraid of cutting anything up on the car/ bending stuff etc.

How long did the whole install take you (minus the downpipe issue) to finish?

There's a good 20 + hours in that car. It's not for a first timer that's for sure.
