How reliable is the A6?
After reading another thread about the A6 it has me wondering. Just how good are these trannies with a SC engine in day to day driving?
Are you better off using the paddles or allow the auto to do everything?

Even though I have not really used my supercharger a lot, I have a ECS kit installed on my car a long with a car that does not buck to much and it is also my daily driver. After reading a lot on this topic it basically comes up to how much you beat the tranny up and how hard you drive it. I let my car shift itself unless I am racing it I'll use paddles. 5xx is considered safety, 6xx+ rwhp is playing with fire and some people have had luck better than others. My car has been all over the rwhp range and is just starting to flare I'm guessing on second gear. I've done 6 hour drives in my car and will do 10 hours next week.

What he said.
600rwhp is about the limit assuming tune is spot on, and you keep it cool.

I've had for 2 seasons now 631 rwhp ... total of 8,500 km ...Car has been tuned to be used on DRIVE only ...I will say I have not tracked it though ... many hard street pulls though ... Car pulls sick ...
