Just wanting to see what everyone's thoughts are on first mods on a zr1 without doing heads and cam. Thinking possibly nitrous outlet ls9 plate and a tune?? Not opposed to doing e85 if it's worth while as I have 2 stations a few miles from where I live.
I would start with LPE 710 which is pulley, snout, cai. Then i would do headers, tune on E85.
THEN would move to nitrous. I made 711whp and 704wtq on 94 with that! Im not a fan of nitrous, i would also think about alky control water/meth spray for cool donw the AIT's.
TimmyZ's advice is solid. LPE 710 is where I'd start. Not sure what drive pulley combo's are available, but the LS9 will tolerate lots of boost. Wouldn't fool with the heads unless they had to come off anyway. I'd do LT headers, fuel delivery and injector upgrades, cam, flex fuel, and IAT cooling upgrades before fooling with nitrous. Really, I'd rather go slow than fool with nitrous. Been there / done that...probably before most reading this were born. You do the upgrades that timmyZ mentioned, you'll be anything but slow
Ask your questions on the ZR1 board. I'm sure dozens have done what you're considering.

I'd be happy to set you up with a Nitrous Kit.
Let me know if I can help.
Thanks
what kind of kit do u guys have? if im planning to spray 250shot with E85, do I have to have fuel cell "stand alone" with it? and why?
Already got 1300cc injct and exrt fuel pump to help the fuel pressure

For you I'd recommend doing spray bars in the supercharger lid.
No you don't have to have a fuel cell, Some people run them to have race fuel when spraying or so they don't have to change there fuel system. As long as you have the fuel pump to support the HP you'll be fine. Injectors wont matter on a wet kit.
Let me know if you have any questions or want some pricing.
just saw this thread, dont get the 710 kit. get the snout on its own and get a tpis 102 with a synergy intake. much better combo. that with exhaust and heads and cam and some blower and snout porting with a 2.35 upper will net you mid 700s no problem.
