Default Fuel pressure question

I have 2006 base model ECS1500 ECS fuel pressure booster. Ive had the blower in my car for a week. Today I noticed while in boost it's underpowered, last Friday I could spin the tires at 60 mph, not today. Fuel pressure was at 60 psi but today it's at 58 then in boost it drops to 54 or so. I'm wondering if it's starving for gas or if it's a tuning thing, or maybe a bad fuel booster. Any toughts?

Assuming this this is a non return style fuel system. Thats pretty normal that it drops a little. Do you have a wideband? If so whats the afr?

Default It's a stock fuel system for the car ..LS2

I don't have a wideband. I have a dual guage pod with boost and fuel pressure guages. I called ECS Cris said it's probably not a fuel pressure problem. It's supposed to drop a little. He said if it went down to 40 psi that would be a thing but going to only 54 or so should be ok. He said belt slip or tune. I'll call the tuner and have him look at it again. Do tunes have to be touched up sometimes as things adjust and break in? Do you think I should ditch one of my guages and get a wideband?

Wideband is more important than either of the two you have, IMO

Thanks guys, which wideband is best, and to ask again do tunes have to be touched up as things break in? It was tuned last Thursday for the first time

Have had good luck with PLX as well. AEM is supposed to have a new one out that is faster but I haven't gotten one yet to try it out.

Another good option for a wideband is the Innovate LC-2.

AEM has a Boost/WBO2 in one gauge that works great.

Just finished putting the aem WB/Boost fail safe in, and i like it. Works great, and easy to setup warnings.

I also use dashlogic, but haven't got around to doing an apillar and won the AEM in a dyno contest so had it laying around.
