Quaife vs Wavetrac Differential
My differential blew off in my 05 and I am going to upgrade to the "Stage 4" 06+ differential from RPM transmissions. Like the title says, there is two options to choose from: Wavetrac or Quife. My question is, what are the pros/cons of both. Which one would be better? I will be running a 3:42 gear ratio. (Searched the forums but nothing for what I was looking for so decided to create my own thread).

I was going to use a quaife for my tr6060 swap into my c5 but I ran into nothing but problems trying to get the unit to work properly, apparently all of the quaifes with the c6z part number are not made properly and you have to modify one for a c5 to get it to work right... I learned about this after talking to rpm and ended up just sending the quaife back, sent my case to rpm, and had them install a wavetrac with dss shafts instead... the 2 diffs are very close in design, the only difference I know of is that if one of the wheels were to come off the ground the wavetrac would still power the other wheel whereas the quaife would not
