4500 fill would settle down to about 4200 after the bottle cools down. I would get about 3 mile runs on a 10lb bottle of N2O. The NANO would last a little longer than that.

Ouch.... ! bottle of booze to 1 bottle HPN or HPA.. I could easily plow through 3 or 4 bottles in Mexico and none of the fill shops are open after 7pm Friday around here. Maybe this is why not many run the stuff if this is true.

I can see the smaller bottle 4500 for weight savings. Thats not huge to me. A 3200 lb Z isnt going to gain much from 4lbs when Im not planning weight reduction into the mix.

Just like n2o, buy multiple bottles. HPA 4500ci bottles are ~$200 for bling carbon fiber ones that weigh <2lbs.

Unreal - can you PM where you're finding the 4500ci bottles for sale? I have searched high and low with no luck. Thanks! John

Ive yet to see any. Definitely interested in at least one. Smallest I can get outside of custom is a small portable that is only refillable at one of the gas companies around here and they don't offer anything light weight. Still 3k for $200+ dollars each is stupid expensive if you can truly only run 15lbs out of it before empty. I mean Id rather wait on the heater than have $1600 in HPN bottles.....

Buy a large scuba bottle and transfer yourself.

You can buy a 4500psi pump and fill it yourself. Or fill off a mother bottle. That is what I did when I had air guns. Just filled off a scuba tank.

We are talking about the tanks themselves rated to handle the 4500psi.

I sent John a whole bunch of companies that make them.

HPA tanks are very common in a lot of industries. Scuba, air guns, industrial, etc.

I can get 10 dozen of these wrong bottles. The size is key. industrial is too big. That's what brought NANO to the scene was the bottle valve and the proprietary bottle size.

You do realize how small a 68-88ci bottle is?

I used to weld medical bottles as a teen. The sizing is clear to me. Its not much but that doesn't mean I know the equation to apply for ci of dry nitrogen @ 4500 to lbs of N20.
