injector gets clogged, the line leaks, or the pump fails your motor can go boom very easy due to increased timing and increased chance of detonation. I am currently looking into this http://www.snowperformance.net/product.php?pk=13 and have also looked into aem failsafe kits http://www.aemelectronics.com/water-...e-1-4-sae-1184 which are pretty nice as well. Sine I have a snow kit myself I will probably go with the snow safeinjection kit myself still trying to decide.

That doesn't sound like hydro lock to me. Why people gotta be a smart *** when somebody asks a question Is beyond me. So I'm new to high horsepwer engines and corvettes. Big deal. I wouldn't be a smart *** to somebody for asking a question. Sounds like you need to grow up my friend.

I think part of it could just be how you asked the question. It made it sound like you were asking if anyone had an alky kit damage their engine. At least that's how I took it.

In response to what you're really asking, there are a few ways to ensure damage doesn't happen:
-don't set it up to be meth dependent. That way if your setup fails, you're not going to cause major damage. Of course you also won't get the biggest gains going this route either, so it depends on how far you want to push it.
-set it up with some sort of failsafe, some people use an IAT sensor post spray to trigger a reduction in timing

Because setup correctly, it'll pull timing when it needs to. Yes, I know people who've had engines pop with every fuel out there. When playing, they let go from time to time. I am grown up, and you had a very broad "if I boost it, will it blow?" Style question.

Point taken. I will try to do more homework and ask more intelligent questions in the future. Thank you for your support.
