MAP sensor, whats everyone using
Car was on the dyno last week and evidently the MAP sensor failed. I was getting boost reading from the mechanical gauge, but the DashLogic would not read boost. it read vacuum but in boost. It simply read -0-.
So, any suggestions on a good MAP sensor. The one that I was using was a GM product.
Thanks.

Doesn't sound like your map sensor failed, just sounds like your installer/tuner never put in the appropriate sensor and tune settings for the car to read boost.

I agree with Unreal.
What engine are you running?
LS2/7 I'd just get the DSX 2.5 bar sensor
LS3 a ZR1 sensor will work
Needs 2 values changed in tune regardless

Its an LS2 based 402 cid with a D1 ProCharger.
What is a DSX sensor? I searched Google and got nothing automotive.

Modified 2.5 bar sensor for plug and play on earlier cars since ls9 sensor won't work.
Dave@DSX makes them.

There's also a GM 2 bar option, I think it's off a Cobalt, but I don't know the part number offhand

The DSX sensor makes things simple. Works great.

I switched from the Cobalt sensor to Dave's.
