Default Firecore 50 wires

Anyone else using these? Just installed a set last night from Carlye Racing. So far so good. Fit was good. Nice positive locking engagement.

I did the promod boots which seem nice. The stock heat shields don't fit the promod boots, but Carlye assured me they are made for high heat and won't be an issue.

Can't say I've ever had spark issues, but so far so good. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to spend more money on plug wires. They definately feel more solid than the stock delco wires, taylor wires, autozone wires, or MSD wires I have laying around.

I have them and my observations are exactly like yours. I don't think you can find anything nicer that would give you more confidence that those. One thing I hated the most with every other wire I tried was the inconsistent click when trying to install.

I have a set, great wires for the price. Never had any blow out even through 9:1 AF and 20psi trying to dial in my tune.

I have them on mine but mine has been in the shop for 3 weeks. Still waiting for a tune.

A friend just ordered a set. Some of his nitrous customers use them and have taken them on and off several times without an issue. That's promising in itself. I've pitched several 100-150 dollar sets of wires because they'd never hold together.

Best wires out there imo.

Running firecores and brisk myself. I honestly believe they are the best and do make a difference, but most don't believe it.

Fire core is a nice product, the wires we have been using on the higher HP cars/half mile cars are the Accel wires with the ceramic plug boot. They can literally lay on the header without a problem.

I honestly can't believe I like an Accel product after using their stuff in the 80's... but they work really good and are fairly reasonably priced at near stock.

I ONLY use FireCore's.... The best of the best, and the best customer service to boot. Why anyone would buy anything else is a mystery.

I got mine with their titanium boot covers. They look sick once installed.

Heard a lot of good about the accels. If these melt, those would be the next try.

Another alternative... Magnum with solid SS core, RF choke, marine grade plug boots, silicone wrapped.

If you have all of those laying around, measure the resistance on each and see which have the least.

Resistance doesn't mean anything, so why waste time doing that.

Unless one is damaged and has 4k+ohm or something.
