Ran out of Fuel Pump; has anyone built there own twins or upgraded to a walbro450?
My car has a forged 416" with TTix 6265. The car was built with the z06 pump from the factory. Using a kb boostapump with the stock fuel pump and id 850 injectors. I was able to put down 756 rwhp/ 786 rwtq. I basically ran out of fuel and my tuner had to cut out a lot of timing at the top end. I would like to do a twin intank or upgrade the pump to a walbro 450.
Just looking to see what you guys have done. My pump has a 130k miles on it; so I will be dropping the tank to put in something new in it.

Fore has nice stuff
ECS kit with their bulkhead would be easier though

You can do an in line pump with NPT fitting drilled into the tank, kind of a mix between A&A and ECS kits, for pretty cheap. Not sure you'll get out much cheaper. Basically ends up being pump, few feet of hose, few fittings and a relay and hobbs switch
Racetronix has all the fittings

racetronix
I did some DIY dual in-tank 340s from racetronix... Just requires a drill and dremel to modify the factory plastic hanger a bit... Racetronix doesn't send any instructions or pictures, so it is very DIY in that regard... Some cussing involved, but definitely a lot cheaper then say FORE...
I bought most all my fuel system from Racetronix... Dual 340 pumps, -8an Teflon feed, -6an Teflon return, 3/4" fuel rails, E85 regulator, their dual pump wiring with hobbs switch for 2nd pump, and a bunch of fittings...
I also installed dedicated motorsports flex fuel sensor...
Running 127lb(1300cc) injectors...
I still think the easy way to go is ECS fuel block that doesn't require dropping the tanks(P.I.T.A.)

This guy seems to make a pretty good bulkhead for an external setup. I wouldn't feel too bad about spending the money on that and then running whatever external pump you wanted. You'd still need fittings and to wire it up to tie it into your stock lines.

IMO, fore stuff is VERY VERY VERY much worth it. The hanger part isn't that expensive at all. You can order just the hanger/pumps and source your own lines if you are being cheap.

What regulator/hobbs would work with this, or is it wiser to just get a Aeromotive/Magnafuel/Bosch?

Out of my league but I would bet one of those Holley dual fuel pumps coming on at 3-4 psi then the second stage at 6-8 psi would handle it.
https://www.holley.com/products/fuel.../parts/12-1800
Pretty sure that's what realcanuk is running at over 1000 (gasoline though)

I was thinking that i could run pump all the time and then have the second pump come on with a hobs switch. I'm trying to use the built in factory regulator and avoid a return line.

Lingenfelter block offs in both factory tanks...
I have Racetronix pressure regulator set at 60psi after fuel rails with -6an return...
I'm sure you could still use factory regulator, but it would definitely limit max flow...
I have dual 340 pumps, but they also sell dual 255 pumps... you could easily go that route and see if factory regulator/return less system work... if 255's, definitely use a low psi Hobbs switch like 4psi...

At what power levels do you guys start to use voltage boosters on the low side?
When does the LT4 high side run out of fuel if a voltage booster is used on the low side?
No Meth, No E85, just 93 pump gas only with an aftermarket supercharger.

Install a -12 bulkhead. Run a Magnafuel 4303 off a hobbs switch with a AFR backup trigger. NEVER run out of fuel. You can do it for under 1K ish if you are smart.
I manually trigger the pump before the burnout but if I forget, the Hobbs switch and or AFR trigger will do it for me.
