Default Nitrous noob

Hey guys! I am new to the idea of nitrous and don't really know the ins and outs of they system. I have an 08 M6 base and looking to add a kit.
Which brand do you recommend?

Which extras would I need (switches, bottle heater, bottle opener, etc.)

Most importantly, do I need to have any specific upgrades done to the car? Right now, performance wise, I have an intake. No other engine modifications.

And lastly, what is the biggest/safest shot you can go with?

TIA

I would go with a NX Kit but then again I'm a little biased.
No upgrades needed for the car unless you plan on spraying more than 150 shot, you will need a fuel pump. I would run a 100-150 shot and you shouldn't have any problems.

Plate Kit with integrated solenoids

Or you can get a plate kit without integrated solenoids.

Then comes accessories, most people run a purge, heater, and a bottle gauge. But you can also add a automatic opener, switch panel, etc.

We also have an accessory package that has almost everything bundles together.

Exactly the info I was looking for. Thanks! My only other question is what is the difference between the integrated solenoid vs the one without? Pros vs. Cons. And I do like the bundle package that has everything included. Once I figure out which kit, would you please send me a quote. Thank you!

I ran a NX kit on my coyote.
I would highly suggest a bottle heater and gauge.
Stupid simple to install and wire it up.

Good to hear! Was a tune required after your install?

Solenoids are connected to the plate or they are separate both will do the same job. Its just all what you like better.
