I've done plenty of wiring relays but i've never had one use a ground to activate it. The nos mini puts off a ground to pulse the solenoids open and has a constant ground output for each channel also. I'm wanting to relay my lnc2000 that way it pulls timing once the nitrous begins to spray instead of constantly pulling timing when my system is armed. That way when i spray a bigger shot 175-200 and I'm not pulling all that timing out when I launch the car. I have it delayed to spray and progressed in 1st gear so the car will still hook with a non prepped surface.
With the typical 4 prong relay can i have it wired as normal 85 to ground from the constant ground output on the mini (not the pulse from the soleniod activation), 30 to the battery +, 86 from my 12v arming switch, and 87 to the lnc2000 for 12v activation for the timing retard.
I edited this picture to try to explain what I'm thinking of.
