Default Overheating with procharger ds1c and headers

I have owned a 2007 procharged, custom Katech cam, injectors intercooler, Dewitt's rad Ls2 and headers. My fan module failed last summer and was replaced due to wiring checking good. The knew one failed this year already after putting on maybe 700 miles. Anyone else have problems with this module? I am replacing it with an adjustable Linginfelter module to bypass it completely. Just wondering if anyone one else had this issue..
Secondly I bought the wide mouth intake for my procharger and Katech said it won't fit. If they lower the rad cradle damage to that is likely. Since it's a Dewitt's rad its bigger than stock. Any ideas?

Very common problem you can't run the factory fan modules at 100% for one thing I just put them on a HD relay and had the factory fan run 100% all the time worked pretty good. Running the dual fan set up is almost mandatory for cars that see traffic with A/C on in summer time etc... depend on how much you lower the cradle a lot have done it with no ill effects but it also depends on your driving style. But it is one of the reason most of the SC guys run a cut down dewitts radiator to give them the extra room. GL!

Best way is to lower the actual mounts on the cradle. That lowers the rad with no change in ground clearance.

Silicone radiator hoses and a flex-a-lite parts store fan, problem solved.

I have almost your same engine. I run the full size DeWitts with their dual fan setup. I use A&A air cleaner and inlet pipe. Clears the top of the radiator. I also have a separate oil cooler mounted over brake cooler inlet at the front of the car.
Runnin at 70 mph with 80* OAT, the engine coolant temp is 180* and oil temp is 210*. Running the AC adds about 10*.
In traffic, these temps can rise 30*, but lower rapidly when under way again.

Thanks for the info guys. Not sure about the silicone and flex a lite though?? Aren't you worried about melting?

It was a joke. Past member said he swapped radiator hoses and a cheap fan and it solved all his cooling problems, then 2 weeks later is back complaining about overheating after telling everyone how his awesome hoses and $90 fan solved everything.
