Engine swap C6 2005 LS2 TT to LS7 RHS 429 tuning question.
I just change engine in me C6 2005 to LS6 RHS 429 9 to 1 fully build with Mast 305 heads. Car is APS/DKT PTE 6266 TT. I have dual meth. So I need info on timing different from LS2 to LS7 and I also need if it is correct to copy the Z06 Knock Sensor Level ( 2005 have different PCM but tables are the same in both case but with different value)
Currently I´m only testing with 5 psi. How much timing is normal for such psi?
I would be great if someone with similar setup can send me log file with boost pool on maybe 5 psi,10 psi and 15 psi. Me LS2 tune is scaled.
On the LS2 402 same turbo I was at 20-22 ° on 10 psi with meth.
I use HP tuner and there are none qualified tuner´s in Iceland. I have done the tunings but I´m none expert in this.
Thanks.

I think there have been a few posters here from Iceland ?
I've seen some guys in the UK/Europe have good success via PatG with remote tuning. Not sure whether HPT or EFILive though

Before you do anything, I would speak to someone like the above. Trying to copy bits from here or there is not a sensible approach to tuning what sounds like a very potent build.
Other option...fit an aftemarket ecu you might be familiar with, or there is someone local who is ?
Or Pekka is in Sweden I believe, not sure how familiar he is or whether he fancies a holiday lol

I did get the tune file from the C6 Z06 witch the engine came from. I have taken the parameters from that tune to the file I did have in the car.
I have gone through many changes in the past and did not have issue with tuning that ( 3 different sets of turbos ,heads, intake, alky and more on LS2)
This LS7 is high flow motor and it seems it likes lots of timing. I´m not getting knock. But I would like to be sure that they have the correct value. ( what is the best way to test that?)
So do high flow lS7 like more timing than mid flow LS2?
However it is pain in the to get the idle in place LOL
Any tunner in the way to Iceland?

Same with any car...use a timing light to verify timing is as you expect.
And unless you are listening for knock properly, and have correctly calibrated the knock sensors within your ecu for your engine etc....dont assume no knock means no knock..and equally dont assume noises are always knock..
And contact PatG
