Default Alky pump

I installed my alky kit, and i moved my ww tank up about an inch, but my Alky pump sitting half an inch below the frame, and i had to notch my fender slightly to get it to fit. It will get wet and dirty and I'm concerned it will be an issue. Any opinions if i should move it up even further?

Just from a aspect of getting hit by something like a speed bump I'd definitely move it up as much as you can.

No reason for it to hang down like that. Easy enough to mount it so bottom part is well over frame.

Agree with the rest.. worst case should be even with everything else, not hanging down. Did you move the washer reservoir up to get more space?

I originally mocked up the washer tank by just raising it up but it didn't help with pump clearance. Wound up just rotating the washer tank CW by redrilling one of the mounting holes. Much more room was available for the pump when rotating it rather than just raising it.

When i originally installed it i moved the windshield washer tank up over an inch, but i think like the last post says, i need to rotate the tank a bit. Im thinking i can rotate the tank and then shift the pump up.

If only i could get my headers sometime this year Maryland speed i would be ready to go dyno.
