[QUOTE=Cockroach;1596575084]There is on mine, I put on on each turbo. Either way I still have an issue, I capped the oil feed off the filter to see if that wasnt the problem. And it wasnt, still had low oil pressure.

Ya I recall now you did mention that. Sorry to say I think your oil pump is weak/bad. Dump the oil and put in some cheap 50w, start it up and see what your pressure is.

Got everything tore apart, decided to check my retaining plate. The gasket doesn’t seem to be extruding past the plate at all. I can run a straight edge across the plate and it won’t catch on anything going over the gasket. Which leaves me to believe the gasket wasn’t sealing anything? Got a new on coming Saturday, should have just bought a new one with the pump.

Replaced everything, new retaining plate, pump, o ring, even shimmed the pump. Still no oil pressure, I’m at a loss. Almost the same pressure as before, only around 10psi once warm at idle.

Sounds like a bearing issue then.

Im afraid it’s a bearing issue too, if it was cam bearings it should build pressure at the filter housing but not at the sensor location correct?

those o rings come in 3 different sizes by color, my brother put his together with the wrong size and had the same problem went thru all the same things your doing, if you don't get a good seal it pulls air instead of oil.

I may have found the issue, I noticed after running the car for awhile if I checked the dip stick the oil would have air bubbles like the pump was sucking in air. So tore the pan off and saw the pickup tube is not fully seated. I have tried everything and no matter how much I try and force it I can not get the tube to fully seat into the pump. The only way I can get it to seat fully is with the stock blue o ring and not the black one melling suggested to use. Should I try the factory blue one or is do I have a different issue? My heater decided to quit so my garage is 28 degrees, yay me. Hopefully this picture helps show the tube flange not fully seated on the pump housing.
