Please keep us updated. I'm looking to turbo my car as well. I would love to make a custom kit or get something like this and improve it to meet my needs.

Gonna start tearing into her this week! Probably won’t be till later in the week or weekend. Planning on borrowing my cousins portable lift to make things easier. Yes I will be doing this in my garage! I have access to many lifts but I’m not sure how long this project will be, And I don’t like taking up other people’s time. Plus I got beer on tap here
With that being said my intake and headers( full exhaust plus npp mufflers) are in the for sale section if anyone is interested!

Making a list of stuff I need to grab this week so I can start this weekend. If anyone has any info that would be great.
Plugs gapped at .28 (what brand?)
I’ll need to re route the tranny cooler lines acccording to their instructions, but they did not provide any rubber hose. Since it’s just the cooler lines do they need to be a high pressure line? I would like to use some sort of braided line, if anyone has good any suggestions. I’ll change the fluid and filter for the trans while I’m at it. Just use factory for both?
I’ll need to tap the oil pan for oil return from the turbos. I was going to remove the pan and tig some bungs in at work. I have found a few write ups. Unbolt the shock and control arm, remove leaf spring, support front of motor, loosen k member enough to slide pan out?
Just looking for any tips and tricks before hand.

Got the headers off tonight, once I started working I just kept going. Got the new headers in and the mocked up the pass side wasetgate and tube. Was going to mount the turbos but will need another set of hands for that.

Looks good so far! I would definitely recommend heat wrap and/or coating with how the hot side is so close to things. I wouldn't want to invest all that time and money, just to create a melted mess under there.

Yup, I picked up two boxes of wrap. I was also thinking about trying to find or modify a turbo blanket.

Am I missing something on the gates? There are 2 off the manifolds, but the turbine housings have gate flanges integrated into the castings and machined.. Planning on running 4 gates? Or is it supposed to be optional placements?
The welds are mig process with a non-filler tig pulse added afterwards to give appearance from what I see.
Interested to see how it does. I haven't been on much lately.. didn't realize On3 had shipped any of the kits they were working on.

Yes this kit uses 4 wastegates, one on each turbo and one on each manifold. From what I heard they had trouble controlling boost and this was their answer. As far as welds yes I am not please, but I’m also in quality control and a stickler about stuff like that. But for the price it may be worth it.

Made alittle progress tonight, put in TR6 plugs, wrapped all the exhaust and got the headers mounted for hopefully the last time. Plan is to throw the turbos and down pipes on tomorrow, then pull the pan to weld in the bungs for oils return. Would like to have all the hot side buttoned up by this weekend.

Hot side is all in place, still needs buttoned up and aligned alittle better. Pretty happy with how high everything sits. Gained about 3” oh height from my old headers. X pipe won’t fit with my car being an auto so will have to figure something out there.

Man this install continues to look really good. This is honestly a comparable setup to a centrifugal setup, with the ease of just adding a boost controller. How much is that setup going to interfere with the coil wires?
