Installed an Edelbrock e-Force Stage-1 which comes with an SCT-4X ECU programmer which has a "gauges" function like a DashHawk.
The SCT-4X programmer has a sort of boost-gauge as Manifold Pressure in PSI. This is connected to the OBD-II port while the engine is running.
I noticed that at idle I'm at about 4 PSI, when decelerating I'm at 2 PSI, and WOT I'm at 15.75 PSI.
Somehow I'm thinking that this is not the boost produced by the SC. Is this correct? I think not since maximum boost should be 8 PSI and related to engine RPM, not throttle response.
The stock tune has already been imported to the unit and supposedly installed. I have no CELs and the car pulls fairly nicely.
IAT got to be 95 F deg. even though it was 60 F. outside, according to the unit. What's too high an IAT?
