I know Advanced Modern Performance (AMP) has done it on a F1X C7.... you might check to see if it works for a C6 too.

THere are no kits per say. There are tried and tested combos though. Some have mounted a2w cores behind the fog lights (one each side). That would allow you to keep the rad in the stock location. LMR did on a twin turbo using twin Garrett 1000bhp codes.

Sone have done a decent sized cooler on the opposite side of the engine at to the supercharger. This would need the rad to be toilets forward though. Frozen boost cores have been used.

Or you could go with a intake manifold mounted cooler (like G1Pro's). will need a new hood, or a hole in your stock one. And maybe an SD tune (might melt the MAF).

Custom build. Mine has a ShearerFab front mount 2000hp intercooler and a ShearerFab 8 gal tank in the back. Ormes brothers for all the lines and fittings. Cools better than it ever did with the A2A blocking the radiator. In 90 degree heat, 1/4 mile pass the IAT started in the upper 50's and finished in the 80's. Best move I ever did to my F1X build was go A2W....

My buddy is finishing up his rebuild. He had the typical A2A IC in front of the radiator.

His new setup is two cores, one behind each fog light, and a tank in the back. The pump is activated either by boost, or manually with a switch.

Its a slick setup. I’m confident his IATs will be significantly lower now. He drives on the street a lot. But has hundreds of passes at the track too. He makes about 1000 to the tire with a YSi and a manual trans.

I'm in the kit for about 5k, just parts. I did all labor, running the lines, fab work and welding on the new piping, etc which saved a ton. I think most reputable shops charge 12k-18k for a custom A2W setup...

I just did A2W on my 2200r setup, Frozen boost core, Rhoades Fab 5 gal tank with rule 2000 (should have gone bigger tank). Recently did a 1/2 mile event, I wasn't running the pump in the staging lanes until I was next up IATs started at 88 finished at 122. I have roughly 2k in parts and labor in to my setup.

Which FB IC is that? I’m looking at options, and that might fit my needs.

My initial idea was to put it in the passenger foot well, but if I can keep it up front, it might work out better for my application.

Wait what? 12-18k?? That's more than any boost set up I've heard of. Most people are taking 3-5k from what I've been talking to

You could run the Shearer fab Hi Ram setup and an 8-10 gallon tank and be in the $2200 range and killer iats.

type 12, its big and its a tight fit, but I'm very happy overall. Drove the car 30 miles yesterday in stop and go traffic in 98 degree heat and coolant temp stayed at 190.

That may be. I know I am in mine for about that much and thats just the parts. Im not running eBay cores, etc. I am running top brand American made products. Hit up some of the shops and ask what a high HP custom A2W setup costs and report back. I know several people that have had them done, we are talking max'd out F1X setups making 1500hp. It costs 15k give or take. Or stick to your cheaper stuff and it'll probably do just fine. Its like anything else, you get what you pay for...

Chisled Performance 4000hp I/C is 1750, water tank 300, ewp 500, lines and fittings 300, fab work 1500 = less then 4500 total. Even with a 50 margin on pricing 10k isn't even in view. I get there are options out there but i cant imagine going more then these numbers here when doing the plumbing and mounting your self.

Thanks. That’s pretty slick how you’ve got it mounted in there.
