My numbers in the post above are only rough guesses. If you’re running a 90mm (3.54”) now, then going to a 3.3” (84mm) would be two steps down (I believe - iirc Magnuson produces these pulleys in 3mm increments). As far as I remember, one of the more knowledgeable Hbeat guys (maybe Rodney or Andy?) had posted once that you should see around 20hp increase for each step down in pulleys, all other things remaining equal. I have no way of knowing (although I’m anxious myself to find out) what E85 does for one of these Heartbeat setups, but I would wager that you’ll see a significant gain (20-30hp?) from tuning for the higher octane and the cooling effect of the alcohol on one of these Hbeat setups.
So, if the only “power-adding” mod is a pulley change, then you should be able to see 30-40hp from that, if you don’t have to pull timing to run on 91 (which is likely), but with E85 you’ll be able to run more timing than before and that will enable you to pick up a good bit more power. How much, I have no idea, and there’s no real utility in comparing one guys dyno numbers to another’s anyhow, since dyno numbers can be all over the place. So, if I had to guess - and it’s just a guess - if you’re at 537whp now, you should be able to add 40-50 hp to that number with the pulley change and E85.
BTW: I would suggest that you speak to Doug at ECS about whether you can run the cheaper AEM pump Stage 1 setup. I’m pretty sure that should enough for making 650+whp on E85. That’s what I’m using myself, and I’m pretty sure that it comes with E85-compatible hard-anodized bulkhead and fittings.

Im kinda confused, if your end goal is only 650hp why not just throw a walbro 450 in and e85? You'll need injectors($1000) pump ($150) and flex fuel kit ($300) and be done with it... My dads car made 600 at the tire with nothing more than headers, P1 procharger and meth.
You could easily make 650 on 93 and meth and bigger injectors also. Iv seen stock pumps with a BAP go 700 plus on 93 and meth...

I wanted to avoid meth, and I can't get 93 - only 91 in California. And I can't Legally run headers out here...
How much boost was your father's car at with that set up?

Gotcha, his was 9psi. I would do ecs stage 1 e85 kit and some 1200cc injectors and call it a day. I personally wouldnt mess with a cam if your goal is 650. Smaller pully and e85 is a solid 100hp gain.

Not to keep going but if you have $12k for mods, $10k for an engine, your car is worth at least $35-40k. Add that together ($66k) thats the price of a ZR1 that already makes 650hp... Throw bolt ons and E85 on that car and make a reliable 800hp, Just food for thought.

I know! Had I known that I'd be at this point before I started, I could have done much better $$$ per HP...
It happens every time with every, car, boat or truck, LOL.
In fact there's a nice GS in the Classifieds in DFW for 50k, at 1140 rwhp.
I DO like the ZR1 idea, and there were some fantastic deals awhile back. I'm going to think about that, thanks for the reminder!
