What is up with all the for sale/vendor threads in this section? I am not looking to purchase something or I would have looked at the Sale/Wanted section.

AFAIK vendors pay a forum sponsorship fee to be able to post in various forums.
I don't prefer so many postings myself, but if it help keep the Vette forums going, I'll accept it.

Vendors pay for the forum. Not much of anything you can do. I just note which ones do nothing but spam non stop and add them to a do not buy list. An add showing off a new product, service, special sale, but just nonstop ads just shows they are not a business I want to deal with. I suggest you do the same.
