Default 06 c6z - LS7 + LS3 + LSA = ???

Anyone aside from that base model LS2 do this swap? I think it’s way more badass cutting the hood for a ZL1 lid sticking out instead of s high ram.

Stock bottom end LS3(gapped rings for boost)
Ported LS3 heads/arp studs/ls9 head gaskets
Ported LSA blower and snout / NW102 / ZL1 lid with reinforced brick
GP tuning stage 3 cam / trunion upgrade / c5r chain / BTR springs / melling oil pump
A&A dual pump fuel system / 1100cc FIC injectors
Fluidyne HX / 7.5gal ice tank in trunk
Innovators west 8 rib pulleys 15% OD balancer
LS3 wet sump corvette oil pan, pickup tube etc

I think that covers the big items. I was going to do a stock build on my LS7 and spray a 200 shot since I spun a bearing but my buddy has always wanted to do a LSA on a C6. Shooting for 800 wheel on e85. Should have the motor back in next week.

Nice. I’m expecting a bottom 10 at mid 140 trap taking it easy. You have any pics of intake setup? SSmoked@gmail.com

Its ugly, we had to cut the cowl hood for the 5". Maybe an actual fabricator could make it look nice, but we just made something work.

Not sure about using the LSA blower on a Vette with the pulley/belt setup. Need a shorter snout.

2.4 upper. With ported blower and snout should be around 15lbs of boost.

Its coming together.....

I don't expect it to last long, too much side load on the pulley/shaft.

How much boost you running? Why not LSA heads vs the LS3 heads? Assuming the heads came with the block?

Yeah I got the motor and blower complete for $5k. Was going for a budget build but the budget part didn’t happen. Going to be installing the blower today. With pulleys should be around 16psi

$5K for the motor and blower is a solid bargain in my book. Should be fun!

Everything fit without any cutting. Looks badass from the driver seat.

Wonder if a VFN hood would work, they have a 4.5" and 6" cowl hood.

Going to cut the stocker for now. It sticks up pretty far but I’m sure the 4.5 would work.

How did you get around from using the snout from the ZR1....the Camaro one that turns and the LS9 does not since C6 breathes from straight ahead....can you show pics of finished product under the hood?
