Nothing wrong with that. Although i am learning quickly to avoid anything not fulfilled by amazon warehouses. Just getting the box in the mail takes a week for some of these places.

Looking like next weekend for the first start. We need to do a little tweak on the crossover and work with some wastegate lines and it is pretty much done.

Haha yeah i started cleaning it up yesterday. There was just so much cutting/grinding and packages being opened that it was hard to want to clean it till it was about over with.

I wouldnt be surprised if i find little things from now till 3 months from now before mine is actually running lol. But with some luck it will just start next saturday and be fine.

Highly considering tuning the car on 93 and wastegate pressure first to make sure everything is healthy before new pumps and e85. Dont feel like wasting time if i have to yank the whole thing anyways. Especially since I bought the car broken and dont know what works.

Seeing your setup makes me wish I went out the hood with the turbo, lol!

You'll have to put the pumps in either way. Why not just get it over with and tune it on e85 and wastegate?

Yeah i love the look its really aggressive.
Mainly just to shake things down. I am not really doing the pumps Zach said he would do it for me so I just need to give a hand and reassemble the basket with my added pumps. But it would be nice to avoid doing the work if its just going to nuke its self at 550whp considering I put the motor together and it was my first time doing so.

Its not too big of a mess to do a shake down tune also since its local and i know the guy who will be doing it he wont charge me a ton to do it. I am thinking 93 wastegate tune drive it for a week then do the pumps kind of thing.

If you know the tuner pretty well that's probably your best bet. Might as well get some miles on it and make sure everything works like it is supposed to before digging into the tanks and chasing an issue you may not have created.

I wish i could explain how terrible this weekend went accurately.

First couldnt get the car to start.
Was caused by 2 stuck lifters due to the push rods not being on them correctly and jamming in the head. So i ended up pulling both heads and putting new morel lifters in on friday.
Friday night we put the car on the dyno at a buddies shop. Felt like it was going well until it was leaking oil from the rear main. So we ended up stopping. Our one and only full pull we did 8psi on 8 degrees of timing it made a whole 450whp (gate pressure).
Saturday morning I pulled the motor with some friends and put it back in after fixing everything same day.
We go to do some driving and first pull on the street it blew a freeze plug out the head.
Put another one in hopping it was just a weak plug on my used $75 heads. Popped two more on the next pull. Pulled a head and found it was leaking past the gasket so we replaced it. Ended up leaving it at the shop and they will put new freeze plugs in and then we will try to tune it again.

This time i will bring my laptop and will be in the passenger seat doing the boost control tuning so we will get to test if the controller will work or not.

Damn man, poor luck. At least the car is running! Lets hear some idle videos

Did you pull the motor out the top or just drop everything out the bottom?

Top from start to motor being out i think we had about a hour and a half into it? The shop owner gave us advice on what to do and it worked out really well. Was able to pull it with the manifolds/wastegate on just took the cat/crossover pipes off it.

lets see if this link works im typing it in i made it private and just uploaded a random one i had on my phone quick at work. It sounds sick under load with the gate open.

Fixed the heads from lifting finally. Here is another 8psi pull from inside the car.

l

Sadly there is somekind of vibration coming from what we think is the torque tube. Not sure if the driveshaft is bent or the input shaft or what it could be. From what i was told it is especially bad when turning but when you push the clutch in it goes away. I have still refused to ride in or drive the car so im just going by what i was told by some friends that are.

There maybe now it works i put a L in instead of a i to see if thats why. I cant copy and paste it at work bc youtube is blocked here :/.

No clue on why the head was lifting i think it was just a issue of it not being torqued down correctly since it was the stock style ones that you do by degrees for last 2 steps could have been something holding it up slightly making the first torque reading of only 22 ft lbs wrong.

No i didnt do torque tube bushings or anything when we had it out. I am not sure what is going on with it. I am possibly driving to Indiana after work to purchase a torque tube so we will see.

Torque tube is picked up and dropped off at the shop.

We will be doing the fuelpumps and torque tube at the sametime hopefully next week when there is some lift time available. So with some luck next weekend will be e85 and 30+ psi...but luck will more then likely just lead to something else breaking lol.
